A big part of Shabbat involves singing. Go here to learn a tune to Shalom Aleichem that is different from the 'regular' one. We will sing this at Kabbalat Shabbat this Friday.

Quiz on 10 Verbs

We will have a quiz on the 10 verbs that we learned. They are from Chapter 39 of Genesis. The quiz will be on December 2, 2009 (Wednesday; Day 6). You will need to be able to translate these words from Hebrew to English and from English to Hebrew.

We will have a quiz on December 1 (Tuesday; Day 5) based on Chapter 37 in the Book of Genesis.

You will be interviewing an older person about his or her bar/bat mitzvah. To prepare for this, you will be handing in a list of 20 interview questions.
